Lyons O’Neil

Lyons O’Neil is a young company whose experience is grounded in some of the country’s premier design-led practices. Our experience, both on site and in the design office allows us to approach each problem from both practical and theoretical view points.

We aim to identify the key issues or elements within a project at an early stage. Whether these issues are of a technical nature of Client/Architect led, we strive to draw these out to develop the structural hierarchy. The ability to draw and illustrate problems remains central to our design process. Sketching both design issues and building processes, enables us to both record and communicate key structural l design decisions throughout the project. Each project will have Director Level input throughout the duration.

Our work included residential developments, commercial, bespoke houses, education and leisure buildings. We have experience in the conservations of historical buildings and both remedial and refurbishment work is undertaken. We have also worked on specialist projects such as art installations and glass structures. Sustainability has always been a key element in our decision-making process. Whether in simple reuse of materials or more often understanding the green credentials of different solutions, we always strive for common sense solutions when approaching this subject.
