Mainstream UK structural and civil engineering consultancy requires a Head of Civil (infrastructure) Engineering to run the civil infrastructure department and will be based in the London, Surrey or the Leeds office.
Candidates will need to have extensive civil infrastructure design, project and team-running experience gained working in the UK and will be required to manage and expand the civil infrastructure team based across the three offices. They should have good recent software skills including MicroDrainage WinDes and Civils 3D and be skilled in FRA’s, drainage strategy, detailed drainage design and estate roads as this will still be a hands-on role. They should also be technically strong with good management skills combined with excellent business skills. This is a challenging and rewarding role with scope to Director-level in the medium-term.
Current workload is a mixture of both multi-disciplinary structural/civil commissions combined with pure civil infrastructure projects across the UK in commercial, residential, retail, education and leisure sectors with project values up to £100million.
