You may already be aware of the new Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, which came into effect in April 2004.  The aim of the legislation is to govern the conduct of the private recruitment industry and to establish a framework of minimum standards that candidates are entitled to expect.

Walker Dendle Technical Recruitment, as a practitioner of excellence, embraces the legislation and believes that it will promote best practice across our industry.  In fact, we have been able to demonstrate that our business practices already meet the requirements of the new Regulations.

The Regulations make a provision that, before entering into a business relationship with our candidates, Walker Dendle must agree terms and the type of work that will be sought on your behalf.  Also required is proof of identity and qualifications, training or membership of professional bodies.
